Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Rebecca Merendino ("we") about the You Got This app and website. By using the app you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
1. Who can use it
You must be 18 or older. One account per person; keep your Apple or Google sign-in secure.
2. Not medical advice
You Got This is a wellness and logging tool. Calorie, nutrient and body estimates — especially AI estimates from photos — are approximate and can be wrong. Cycle tracking is for your own records and must not be used for birth control or to diagnose anything. The app does not give medical, nutritional or fitness advice and is not a substitute for a doctor or dietitian. Talk to a professional before changing your diet or exercise, especially if you are pregnant, have an eating disorder, or have a medical condition.
3. AI features
AI answers come from a third-party AI service (see the Privacy Policy). Check them before relying on them. Don't send photos of other people or anything you don't have the right to share.
4. Your content
What you log and upload stays yours. You give us permission to store, process and display it only to run the app for you (and for the partner you link, as you choose). You can delete it at any time.
5. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app: no attempts to access other people's accounts or data, to break or overload the service, to reverse engineer it to get around limits or payments, or to use it for anything unlawful.
6. Subscriptions
Paid features are sold through Apple. Price, billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms; cancel in your Apple account settings. Beta builds: purchases in TestFlight are Apple's test purchases — you are not charged, and anything unlocked in a beta ends when the beta ends.
7. Beta testing
Beta builds may be unstable, change or stop working, and features may be removed. Keep your own copy of anything important (Settings → Move my data). Feedback you send may be used to improve the app, without payment to you. Testers are not paid or rewarded for testing.
8. Changes and ending
We may change or stop the app, or suspend an account that breaks these terms. You can stop using it and delete your account at any time. We'll update the date above when these terms change; important changes will be shown in the app.
9. Disclaimers and limits
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on estimates in the app. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing). Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA, except where the law where you live gives you rights that can't be waived.
